Poland is now home to the world’s largest snow maze.

The 2,500 square metre maze was unveiled in Zakopane, one of the country’s most popular ski resorts, and the team who built the structure are hoping to have it officially recognised in the Guinness Book of Records. December’s unseasonably warm weather threatened to put the project on hold, but fortunately temperatures dropped low enough for work to begin after Christmas. Until now, Canada held the record for the world’s largest maze, with their walk-in puzzle measuring 1,700 square metres.
