The app-based taxi company Uber has announced plans to create a special ‘U-line’ service in Rome to try to help with the city’s public transport woes in the run up to Christmas.

The ‘U-line’ will consist of a circular route of eight stops, with a constant supply of black Uber vehicles running between 10 and 24 December. The company is leaving the locations of the stops up to its customers – anyone can suggest stops at and the most popular will become part of the route. Read more: thelocal.it
