Tributes have sprung up around the world for David Bowie, who has died at the age of 69 following an 18-month battle with cancer. The musician, one of the most influential artists of his time, was known for a musical career that spanned decades and included hit songs like Changes, Modern Love, and Rebel Rebel, and his alter ego Ziggy Stardust. Flowers, art, candles and other tributes have appeared in his birthplace of Brixton, London, and at his former homes in Berlin and New York, and around the world. The singer’s final album, titled Blackstar, was released on Friday.
