Train travel between Russia and Estonia suspended

After 65 years, the train route between Tallinn in Estonia and Russia’s capital Moscow has been suspended by the Baltic country. The route to St Petersburg was suspended earlier this month. According to Estonia’s Go Rail carrier, the reason for the cancellations is a big decline in passenger numbers, as the number of travellers from Russia to Estonia dropped by 43 percent in March, compared to the same time last year.
