A woman who worked incessantly for up to 40 minutes trying to revive a fellow passenger on a recent Ryanair flight from the Canary Islands has been lauded for her bravery. The anonymous female leaped into action after a passenger suffered a heart attack at 35,000 feet. When the crew asked if there were any doctors on board, the woman, who was accompanied by her two children on the flight, said she had 14 years airline experience.

While many frequent fliers in Canada were excited about the prospect of the country’s new low-cost carrier, it seems the company is having some trouble taking off. New Leaf, which announced its launch earlier this month, promised fares as low as $89 CAD for a one-way ticket. But this week, the company announced it will delay sales and refund tickets while it deals with concerns surrounding its license to operate.

Passengers on board US airlines are more than five times more likely to have access to Wi-Fi on their flights when compared to the rest of the world. A state of in-flight Wi-Fi report by Routehappy has revealed that the world’s intending air passengers have around a one in three chance of getting online during their flight using their own mobiles, devices, or laptops.
