In the past few days, three airlines have inaugurated new routes to Costa Rica: Alaska Airlines, Southwest Airlines, and Thomson Airways.
Alaska made its first flight to Costa Rica via its Los Angeles-San Jose route on Saturday, and it launched another new flight from Los Angeles to Liberia, Guanacaste on Sunday; both routes will be offered four times a week. Southwest Airlines also launched a daily route between Houston and Liberia this weekend, and will begin another new route between Baltimore and Liberia later this week. The UK’s Thomson Airways made its first weekly flight between Gatwick and Liberia on Monday. Costa Rica now has 70 connections to cities worldwide. Read more: ticotimes.net
