The South African Weather Service has forecast temperatures in many inland areas of the Western Cape, Eastern Cape and Northern Cape to peak at 45°C this week, though some travellers have already reported highs of 47°C.
Thankfully temperatures in coastal cities such as Cape Town, Port Elizabeth and Durban are not expected to be as hot, with the mercury hovering between 31-34°C. Read more: news24.com
