A Star Wars fan from Taiwan has begun crafting his own realistic lightsabers and selling them online.
Tsai Jung-chou, who goes by the alias ‘Makoto Tsai’, decided to make his own lightsabers after he decided that the official merchandise was not realistic enough. Tsai even enrolled in an optical engineering course and worked as an engineer to help fund his crafting. The sabers are made from polycarbonate tubes and are billed as the brightest on the market, boasting realistic buzzing sounds and a pulsing glow effect. Read more: macaudailytimes.com.mo
