Traffic lights in Innsbruck now have a sporty theme, in celebration of the International Children’s Games which are taking place in Tyrolian city next week. The lights feature silhouettes of skiers, snowboarders, skateboarders and hikers and are set to stay there for an initial 6 months.

The sporty figures were inspired by the success of Vienna’s gay-themed traffic lights which were introduced after Eurovision 2015 and showed same-sex couples holding hands with a love heart symbol. Read more: thelocal.at
