Three light-fingered thieves were caught out by the weather in central Sweden after the tracks they left in the fresh snowfall led police to their capture.
The men broke a window at a grocery store to steal a packet of potato chips each, but were caught red handed when officers followed the trail of footprints to their hideout. Officer Stefan Sundberg told newspaper GT, ‘We don’t always have tracks this good to follow.’ Read more: thelocal.se
