A blanket ban on vaping was rolled out in Singapore on Tuesday, with anyone found in possession of e-cigarettes and any solutions with nicotine meant to be used for vaping set to face fines of up to S$10,000 and up to six months jail time.

Until now it was illegal to import, distribute or sell vaping devices and paraphernalia, but possession was technically legal. The second phase of the strict tobacco products ban will kick in from August next year, outlawing snuffs and chewing tobaccos. Read more: Singapore.coconuts.co
