Salzburg skiers find €16,000 on the slopes

A pair of skiers were stunned to find an envelope stuffed with Danish kroner worth €16,000 while snowboarding in Salzburg, Austria.

The cousins found the cash in the snow near a mountain peak and promptly called the police. It was then returned to Danish tourist who had been planning to buy a car on his way back home, and hailed the cousins as heroes. He offered them a €400 reward, but they only accepted half, saying their act was ‘not that heroic’.
