If you have a special something you’ll do what you have to to protect it, and that’s just what’s happened in California where a group of rock climbers have bought a rock wall and the surrounding land to allow them continued access.
The Truckee Donner Land Trust spent $300,000 to buy around 12 acres of land near Donner Lake , northwest of Lake Tahoe. The purchase includes the Black Wall, a 400-foot climbing favourite that offers many challenges and amazing views of Donner Lake.
