Rio national park increases police presence

The Floresta da Tijuca National park in Rio de Janeiro will increase its military police presence to ensure greater safety for the population of hikers and mountain bikers in the park. The 3792 hectare national park surrounding Rio receives three million visitors to its Atlantic rainforest hills each year.
