An ambitious live game experience based on 90s TV show The Crystal Maze is to open in London.
The backers have just secured a venue between Angel and King’s Cross in North London. Competitors will pay £50 to form part of a team competing in a series of challenges in Aztec, Medieval, Industrial and Futuristic zones. The challenges will test intelligence, skill and physical activity, and individuals who fail to complete a task in the time limit will be locked in a room and only released if their teammates can complete a quiz. At the end players will enter a Crystal Dome to try to grab banknotes that will translate into prizes. A bar and viewing platform are also part of the experience, which opens on 15 March.
