Oregon Zoo animals make the most of snowy weather

While not everyone in Portland may have enjoyed the recent cold snap, animals at the Oregon Zoo made the most of playing in the snow this week.

The zoo posted a video of an Amur tiger named Mikhail and a family of harbor seals enjoying the snow. While Mikhail stoically enjoys the flakes, the harbor seals go straight to playing around in the snow. The zoo also filled its Facebook page with photos of the animals enjoying the winter weather.

But while the weather had animals playing, it also led to the closure of the zoo due to the icy conditions. The weather also shut down schools throughout the city and freezing rain led to treacherous roads.
