The craft beer scene in Moscow has boomed over the last year, with around 50 locations now specialising in artisan brews.

One of Moscow’s major craft breweries is Stamm Beer, founded in 2011. According to its founder, Russian micro-brewers have largely followed the American focus on hop-heavy beers, but they are also influenced by Belgium and Germany with their yeast-driven beers. Local breweries can’t meet the growing demand, however, and Moscow craft beer bars are also importing from abroad. Read more: themoscowtimes.com
