New travel trend in Denver: ‘Bud & Breakfasts’

Bed and breakfast owners throughout Denver are experimenting with the state’s relaxed recreational marijuana laws.

A few private homeowners are renting out their homes as Denver listings on ‘Bud and Breakfast’, which provides accommodation listings for travelers interested in the state’s ‘greenery.’ At one Denver ‘B&B’, guests receive a selection of marijuana-infused edibles, including a pot-banana smoothie, eggs benedict with cannabis-infused hollandaise sauce, as well as cheesecake and pumpkin pie spiced with the special ingredient. The owners of the stoner-friendly accommodation say they see a range of guests, from potheads who want to try every dispensary in town, to people suffering from chronic pain.
