National WWII Museum marks VE day anniversary

On May 8th 1945, World War II came to an end in Europe and North Africa.The National World War II Museum in New Orleans will be marking 70 years since VE day with three days of events including speeches and talks, and prayers. Two granddaughters of General Eisenhower, the commander of Allied forces in Europe will be in attendance. All events are free and open to the public. Read more: nola.com
