Man finds unexpected roommate in Oslo hotel

A guest at an Oslo hotel checked in, only to discover that his room was already occupied…by a 40cm-long snake. The man calmly retreated and informed staff at the Anker Hotel and Hostel, who called in the professionals. A hotel spokesman said, “We were lucky he was a calm guest.” The harmless snake, which was most probably left in the room by a previous guest, was taken to the city’s veterinary college and is said to be in a good condition.
