The latest in wearable gadget technology is currently being showcased at the Wearable Device and Technology Expo in Tokyo.

Various models of smart glasses and digital eyewear are among the devices on show, including Toshiba’s ‘Wearvue’, which has a compact projector; and the ‘b.g’ (‘beyond glasses’) projector from Meaganesuper Co, which attaches to everyday prescription glasses. A textile piano, a device that measures brain-wave patterns, a kimono made with printed electronics materials, and a communication collar for cats and dogs that sends information about their feelings to a smartphone, and underwear that measures health data, are some of the other innovations being presented.
