In an effort to enhance visitor access to Kruger National Park over the upcoming holiday period, park management will be implementing a new streamlined arrival system at gates.

The process will see day visitors choosing and booking a time slot prior to their arrival (5.30-7.30am, 7.30-9.30am or 9.30am onwards), which should spread out entries more evenly and ease queues. Visitors will also be able to book up to 80% of Kruger’s day visitor quota at each gate. Pre-booked day visitors will continue to receive preference over non-booked day visitors at the gate, though this advantage will be voided if they arrive outside their allocated time window.
