One of Japan’s biggest rail museums is set to open next April in Kyoto, according to a West Japan Railway announcement yesterday.
On a 30,000 sq metre site and featuring 53 locomotives and train cars, the Kyoto Railway Museum will also have exhibits gathered from two other rail museums that have closed in the area, including a large turntable for steam locomotives. Read more: newsonjapan.com
