In response to rumours that Hanoi street vendors add quantities of marijuana to their spice mixes, Hanoi food authorities conducted tests on street food samples and reportedly found none contained addictive substances. The tests were carried out on sausages, grilled meat rolls and fermented pork rolls, and included checks for morphine and codeine. Food safety officials say they will continue to monitor street foods in major cities and tourist spots. Read more: thanhniennews.com
