The film censorship board of India has cut kissing scenes from the new James Bond film Spectre as these were considered inappropriate for Indian audiences, leading to a storm of condemnation on social media.

The hashtag #SanskariJamesBond from the Hindi word for ‘virtuous’ has been used to tweet a string of doctored images making Bond ‘more Indian’, as a satire on the censorship decision.
