This week we have videos from icy British Columbia, to boiling New South Wales, where snowboarders and fishermen were respectively braving the elements and were caught on camera.

If you get motion sickness maybe don’t watch this video, as an emu relentlessly chases a boxer dog around a tree in Ontario, Canada. Over and over and over again. Hilarious to some, dizziness inducing to others! The boxer’s owner posted the video to Youtube saying that this was Daisy and the emu’s ‘new thing’.

Much like the Old Man and the Sea, three friends had a close and dramatic encounter with a marlin in Port Stephens, New South Wales. The friends had managed to hook the marlin and were beginning to draw him in when the marlin leapt out of the water and onto their boat.

The moment strangers broke into an impromptu sing-a-long on a train has been captured on camera. Claudine Hope Bolster,41, was travelling from Liverpool Central with her family when passengers in her carriage started singing and dancing with one another on New Year’s Eve.

El Nino has caused massive rainfall in southern California, bringing with it both good news (the end of the driest few months on record for the state) and bad news. Los Angeles flooded as seen in this video that captures traffic struggling through a foot of water.

Getting stuck on a cable car could have ruined a fun day of snowboarding, but one boarder was very excited about his eventual rescue by helicopter on Sunday. An electrical failure caused the gondola car at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort in British Columbia, Canada to stop working, leaving about 75 people stranded, reports CBC. Some people stuck on the higher sections had to be rescued by helicopter. Kody Lapointe and his parents, including father Manny, were stuck for about three hours before they were picked up by the rescue team, reports CTV.Manny filmed his ride, which Kody posted online.
