The Northern lights shone bright around much of the Northern Hemisphere this week due to ongoing geomagnetic storms. The lights were visible in many areas where they don’t often shine, such as Northern US states.
The Seoul Lantern Festival is on in South Korea and brings together more than 600 beautiful lanterns for viewing along the Cheonggyecheon Stream, a pedestrian walk in downtown Seoul.

Cambodian student released balloons on the country’s 62nd Independence Day in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, 9 November. King Norodom Sihamoni was jointed by civil servants and students to mark the occasion. The country gained independence from France on 9 November.
