Not only is travel fun and inspiring, but according to a new study it is actually good for your health! A new study released by the Transamerica Center for Retirement Studies shows that frequent holidaying can decrease chances of heart disease and depression, whilst also improving the overall health of the brain. The study particularly stressed the positive effect of travel on older generations, encouraging people to travel as they grow older, recommending it as a way to stay active and mentally stimulated.

An iconic piece of New York street art will be taken down, as the parking garage is it painted on will be removed. A giant mural called “Love Letter Brooklyn” by artist Steve Powers has graced the sides of the parking garage, and connecting sky bridges, since 2011. Now, the parking garage is closing and will be taken down, according to local media reports, along with the artwork.

For anyone who’s seen the 12 times Oscar nominated  movie, The Revenant, one of the undeniably memorable features of Alejandro G. Inarritu’s latest ouevre, is the spectacularly beautiful and rugged landscape. In interviews during the filming, Innaritu stressed the importance of the role played by the locations and the landscape in The Revenant, which were all shot in natural light. Dozens of location scouts were employed to find the wildest, most scenic places to shoot, which resulted in most of the filming taking place in Alberta, Canada.

Stig ‘Tonish’ Tonsjø, a policeman from Oslo in Norway, has released a video of himself in full uniform, dancing and lip-syncing to Rhianna’s hit song ‘Don’t Stop The Music’ in an effort to show the more human side of the police force.

Cuba is set to be a top luxury travel destination in 2016, according to Travel Leaders Group. The group, one of North America’s largest travel companies, released its top luxury travel trends for the year, putting Cuba at the top of its up-and-coming destinations. The list also includes United Arab Emirates, African safaris, Iceland and Antarctica
