Abu Dhabi has put a woolly mammoth believed to be 15,000 years old on display in the capital’s Marina Mall.
The Siberian fossil is one of the biggest of its kind in the world, standing at about four metres tall. The bones alone weigh one tonne. It’s hoped that the mammoth will promote paleontology to the public and is free to visit during mall opening hours. Read more: thenational.ae
