Tickets for the historic first commercial flight to St Helena are anticipated to go on sale by the end of this month, says the CEO of Comair.

The airline is just waiting on final certification of the remote Atlantic island’s new airport. The inaugural flight is scheduled for mid to late February. Services to the island will operate from Johannesburg’s OR Tambo International Airport. Once a month the flight will continue from St Helena to Ascension Island. Read more: tourismupdate.co.za
