Kenya Ferry Services have announced a plan to build an express cable car service at the Likoni crossing channel. The 500m-long project will link Mombasa Island with the south coast mainland, and will have a capacity of 11,000 commuters per hour. The move should halt delays to tourists visiting the south coast beach resorts and offer them panoramic views of the area from an elevation of 100m. Read more: the-star.co.ke
