Driver finds snake abandoned overnight on Brooklyn bus

In news sure to strike fear in the hearts of ophidiophobes across New York City, a boa was removed from a Brooklyn bus on Thursday.

The driver of the B12-route bus said he had seen a man get on the bus the day before with a snake in a bag, but assumed he took the snake with him when he left the bus. Evidently, the man did not, and the boa was found warming himself near the bus motor on Thursday morning, shortly after the bus left the depot. There were no passengers on board at the time.
