The company that brought the world Shrek and Kung Fu Panda is now bringing a theme park to the Riviera Maya in Mexico.
Dreamworks has got the go-ahead to build the attraction on the Caribbean coast between the popular resorts of Playa del Carmen and Cancún. As well as appealing to the big number of US travellers to the region, the developers also hope to attract South American tourists who can visit Mexico more easily than they can visit the United States and the big-name theme parks there.
