Dog ends up on wrong flight to Hawaii

Over the weekend, a Pembroke Welsh corgi took a wrong turn in Dallas and ended up in Honolulu.

The dog, named Bethany, was supposed to be headed to her new home in Mississippi from Seattle when baggage handlers in Dallas put her on the wrong flight. The distraught owners thought their dog had been stolen, but when the furry flier was discovered in Honolulu, American Airlines notified the owners. AA placed the dog under veterinarian care and provided hourly updates to the owner. On Monday, she continued her journey home. AA says it is investigating how the mix-up occurred.
