At least five people have been killed in South Sudan after gunmen attacked a bus about 50km from the border with Uganda, local media report.

The number of those killed may still rise, as authorities have so far only recovered bodies from the side of the road, and not from inside the bus – the initial target of the gunmen. It’s thought around 70 people were travelling on the bus from Juba to Kampala, the Ugandan capital. Read more: bbc.co.uk
