In the central Vietnam city of Danang, more than 150 hotels, restaurants, cruise operators and other businesses have reportedly been found overcharging and ‘cheating’ tourists, following an inspection of 370 businesses. One hotel is said to have told customers it was fully booked, while using brokers to actually sell its rooms for a higher charge. Authorities are considering punishments – likely in the form of fines – for the erring businesses, which will be named once fault has been established in each case. Read more: thanhniennews.com
