The L’Boreal cruise ship, bound from Grave Cove to South Georgia, raised a fire alarm early on Wednesday morning while in the vicinity of Cape Dolphin, north of the Falkland Islands.
The vessel is carrying 347 passengers and crew. The Falkland Islands Government Emergency Services are working swiftly, in collaboration with the British Forces South Atlantic Islands Emergency services and local vessel agents, to provide aid.
