Crowdfunded classical music pub opens in Utrecht

Utrecht is soon to be home to the Netherlands’ first classical music pub. At the Muzieklokaal, which opens this weekend, customers can have a drink and snacks while listening to  a carefully curated playlist of classical music, and in future, enjoy live performances too.

The project was dreamed up by two women from Utrecht who crowdfunded the costs of starting up the pub. The pub, located on the Bemuurde Weerd will be open 6 days a week. Read more: nltimes.nl
