Land Rover has marked the 45th anniversary of the Range Rover by driving the latest model over a paper bridge.
The stunt took place in Suzhou, east China, which is famous for its bridges and is nicknamed the Venice of the East. The paper bridge spanned 16ft (5m) and was designed not to require the use of glue or bolts to hold it in place.
British artist Steve Messam, who designed the bridge, said: “Paper structures capable of supporting people have been built before but nothing on this scale has ever been attempted. It’s pushing engineering boundaries.”
