Chicago to become first city with universal taxi app

The city of Chicago has announced plans to launch a new universal taxi app for the city, in response to the success of apps such as Uber and Lyft.

All licensed taxi drivers in the city will be required to sign up for the service. Chicago will be the first city to launch its own universal taxi app. Read more at: chicagoist.com
