A former chemistry teacher from Shaanxi province has been dubbed ‘China’s Walter White’ due to his involvement with a drug gang. The story drew comparisons to Breaking Bad, as the teacher was discovered with recipes for meth-like synthetic drugs and 2,000 kg of ingredients during a raid on a manufacturing centre last year.
