Californian couple arrested for smuggling endangered turtles

A California couple has been arrested by US authorities after they brought 900 endangered sea turtle eggs into the country from Mexico.

It’s believed that the pair were hoping to sell the eggs for food as they’re considered a delicacy in some Asian communities and can fetch high prices. If found guilty the couple could face 50 years in prison and a million dollar fine. Read more: latino.foxnews.com
