For many people, Uber is a convenient and often cheaper way of getting from A to B than taking a taxi, but cab drivers in Mexico City aren’t happy about the competition and took to the streets yesterday to demonstrate against the ride-sharing company. The drivers complain that Uber and similar schemes don’t have to comply with the same regulations regarding tax, registration and safety laws as regular cabs. Read more: travelpulse.com
