Brooklyn creamery creates official Star Wars ice cream

There is a new addition to the Star Wars product-licensing campaign that seems to be intergalactic in its reach: ice cream.

You can now enjoy officially sanctioned Star Wars ice cream, made by artisanal ice cream makers Ample Hills Creamery, based in Brooklyn. There are two flavours on offer, The Dark Side and The Light Side. The Dark Side is a rich chocolate flavour, studded with white chocolate pearls, which represents the light that shines in the dark. The Light Side is a marshmallow-based ice cream that features handmade cocoa crispies, representing the dark that is always present in the light. The ice cream can be shipped nationwide.
