In spite of a recent WHO warning that processed meats can cause cancer, the Blue Ribbon Bacon Festival’s Extreme Bacon Bite Challenge is moving ahead in Las Vegas.

On Saturday ten Nevada-based chefs will battle it out for a prize valued at $4000, competing to create the best bacon-centered dish. Also on offer at the festival: an Elvis costume contest, music and something the organizers call a ‘bacon-infused wedding ceremony.’ Read more: reviewjournal.com
