Blues legend BB King will be buried at the museum in his childhood hometown of Indianola, Mississippi it has been announced. The BB King Museum and Delta Interpretive Center was set up to tell the story of one of America’s best-known and revered musicians and is filled with artefacts and displays dedicated to the King of Blues. A public memorial is taking place on Friday in Las Vegas where King died after a series of strokes last Thursday aged 89. The BB King Museum is hosting its 35th BB King Homecoming Festival on Sunday; it will be the first festival without King in attendance. Read more: clarionledger.com
