Two Singapore cafe entrepreneurs have travelled to Australia to learn the trade before opening a cafe in their home country as Australia’s unique take on coffee culture spreads across the globe. “They are our gurus…. even our cafe decorations are all from Sydney” says Raj and Sharon Sidhu. Australians devour more fresh beans per person than any other country and has developed a AU$4 billion coffee-drinking market. Starbucks recently credited the introduction of the Australian and New Zealander ‘flat white’ for improving its quarterly sales for the first time in eight years. Read more: bloomberg.com
