2016 Rio Paralympic Games tickets go on sale

Online ticket sales have begun for the upcoming 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.

The 22 events will take place from 7-18 September following the 2016 Olympic Games and will feature disabled and impaired athletes. Tickets range in price from R$10 (US$3) for events like wheelchair tennis, archery, road cycling and weightlifting to R$130 (US$20) for wheelchair basketball. Tickets for opening and closing ceremonies at Maracana Stadium start at R$100 (US$25) and go up to R$1200 (US$300). Read more: riotimesonline.com
