Reportedly it’s the first time a roller coaster has been crossed with a carting track: the Cyclone Cart Coaster at Ocean City, Maryland, officially opens on Friday. The ride is located at the Jolly Roger Amusement park and comprises a wooden course that is 1500ft long. Riders take to the track on single seater or double seater carts on which they can control their own speed. At times the track is wide enough for three cars to race alongside each other. The track is built over five stories which riders climb in a spiral and then race down to get back to ground level. Read more: usatoday.com
