After four years of very poor conditions, ski resorts around Lake Tahoe have seen enough snow in recent days to allow them to start their seasons early.
Heavenly, at the southern end of the lake, and Northstar, to the north, will both open this Saturday, 14 November, after several inches of the white stuff fell at lake level and a lot more settled in the mountains. Read more: tahoedailytribune.com
